Week 1

Summary:
        - We got the brief for this term's project and I have decided to go with the same team I went with               last time as we have good chemistry going.
        - Besides that, we also started with our research with a new system which divides our research                  blogs into Industry, Preliminary, Audience and Genre, I think this might help me organize the                  research as last time it was too big and clunky in one post
To do:
        - Finish Research: Industry

Week 2

Summary:
        - Started our Genre research post & I started on looking deeper into genre conventions of the                  R&B genre. I also started one larger research piece into The Weekend's Die for you music video.
        - We decided that R&B is the best genre for us to pick as it is a broad genre with differing sounds              of music, and it also has the best songs in this era.

Week 3

Summary:
        - This week we learnt about selective construction during a theory lesson and this somewhat                       helped me as I think it would help with how I pick and target my audience.
        - I completed my first complete genre research piece.
        - This week we still had some trouble deciding on songs to use as our final song and we have                  decided to start preparing a list instead
To do:
        - Finish Research: Genre
        - Find more songs & decide on what kind of theme to follow for the video (happy, sad, nostalgic)

Week 4

Summary:
        - We started our statement our intent which will help us set up the general feel of the music video              and also how to target our audiences
        - In class, there was also a lesson on the theory of Stardom by Richard Dyer, where we learnt                  about personas and how celebrities selectively construct their public image
To do:
        - Finish statement of intent, we are doing it as a group and I need to finish my last bit.

Week 5

Summary:
        - The storyboard process and making ideas on the lyrics sheets.
        - We finished the moodboard which will greatly help me when I am color grading the final work               as I will use the photos there for reference.

Week 6

Summary:
        - This week was our first week filled with project lessons where we continue our project works                  during class time. This week I continued with the storyboard and practiced some color grading              photos to try and mimic the photos from the moodboard, I also did some first hand research on              some locations such as the Big M convenience store.

Week 1 (semester 2)

Summary:
        - We made a small music video or a clip for it during our class, this was to practice for our music               video, but primarily the performance aspect where we sung the song. but it also did include                   some videography and editing.

Week 2 (semester 2)

Summary:
        - This week, we learnt about how to do multicam editing and how to sync it up with the beat.
        - We also did our filming schedule to help us clear some time for recording and also to make sure              what we are recording

Week 3 (semester 2)

Summary:
        - Our team got some recording in at night time which was good progress.
        - It was difficult to record at night because we had no light source but a street lamp which we                   control the direction and strength.
        - We also finished the multicam editing task given by our teacher, this actually helped spark some            ideas for the editing

Week 4 (semester 2)

Summary:
        - I organized my files so that it would be easier for me to edit, I also started to use my metering                   mode on my camera so that my color grading would be easier and the exposure across the music            video would be uniform.

Week 5 (semester 2)

-Due to the bad weather in the area, the school was closed down for a few days & so we had to                  compromise & instead of usual lessons we did an online school to learn how to do our critical self     reflection, in those online classes, I learnt how to reflect on my work more as I learnt more on              how I answered the questions with my project and how to turn that into an essay.

Week 6 (semester 2)

Summary:
        - We finally started our CR and also collected some data on our audience which has helped the people on our team who are managing the social media account on how they should brand and it has also helped me with the creation of the digipack.

Week 7 (semester 2)

Summary:
        - There were lots of mock up exams this week which has heavily hindered my progress in research on audience engagement and digipack inspirations, but I did find out that more abstract, up to interpretation album covers in indie albums instead of genres like jazz being more straight forward and shows directly something which doesn't need to be interpreted or R&B where the album cover often tells some kind of story which can be imagined, helping visualization of the audio for listeners.

Week 8 (semester 2)

Summary:
        - My group this week did not make much project again this week as we had to focus more on our mock exams which have taken up the time we would have otherwise used to get feedback from each other and communicate, for example for some of the digipack creation and research, my teammate Edward wanted to know what kind of texture he should use for the album cover but there wasn't a time where we could convene for too long, so I felt that the discussion was very rushed, next time I think

Week 9 (semester 2)

Summary:
        - This week I focused on the digipack, doing typeface research and more in depth brain storming on how we would use our branding. We found a few interesting ideas and this week we focused on the isolated feeling foggy night with neon lights feel
